About us

We are now looking for summer interns for our group and service housing where the users are deaf and use sign language. To work in the residences, you need to be able to communicate in sign language. We are looking for someone who is engaged and curious in their work and has a high sense of responsibility. You should be attentive and interested in our users and have an interest in helping others.

Job Responsibilities

In your daily work, you are part of the users' everyday lives and work to support them so they can live as independently and actively as possible. Our users have different needs for support in their daily lives.

Your workday may consist of helping with:

• Care
• Meals
• Activities
• Personal hygiene
• Cleaning
• Laundry
• Shopping

Working Hours

• Shifts occur during morning, day, evening, and/or night.
• You are expected to work weekends in most of our operations.
• The summer period runs from week 23-35, but we also need interns before and after the summer.
• We prefer that you can work at least 6 - 8 consecutive weeks during the summer period.

Qualifications

• You are 18 years or older.
• It is good if you have completed the health and care program or child and leisure, but it is not a requirement.
• If you have experience working within LSS, it is a plus.
• Sign language skills are a requirement.
• You need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language.
• You also need to have good computer skills.
• You have cycling experience and are willing to cycle; in some areas, a B driver's license is also required.
